The Grafters B430 mens and womens monkey boots are fantastic throw back from the 1960’s . The uppers of these vintage ankle boots are made from leather with stitch detailing adding great understated character whilst the front lace gives an easy fit to the foot. Inside a textile lining has been combined with a slightly padded footbed to offer underfoot cushioning for comfort. Completed with a man made PVC chunky outsole with good lug depth for grip the Grafters Retro womens and mens Monkey ankle boot is a must have and a great alternative to the Kickers Kick Hi Ltr & Doc Martin iconic boots.

- The history of the monkey boot goes back a fair way; to WW2 in fact when they were worn by the Czechoslovak army. In more recent times the boots were adopted by Carpenters and Roofers, the unique toe cap design enables work to be carried out comfortably in a kneeling position. The boot is still today a popular style amongst British subcultures.
- The problem with monkey boots is that they are extremely hard to get hold of. Never to be seen in a high street shoe shop, they are only ever found up side streets in cluttered army surplus stores. These are the original monkey boot sold over decades and can happily be called "our BEST sellers". Get with the trend and treat yourself to an all time classic by buying monkey boots.

A: Yes they are Grafter branded and they are made in the Czech Republic although now most are manufactured under license in India.
A: The length of the inside of the 7 is approximately 28cm and the inside of the 8, 28.5cm.
A:Yes..The Wine & Black have been fixed but can be easily removed & the Grey is not fixed so is easier to remove for any custom made insole that you may prefer to use..

How to find the right shoe size
A) - TRACE YOUR FEET: Take off your socks, place a piece of paper on the floor, and place your foot on it. Now use a pen to trace the shape of the foot. Hold the pen exactly upright. Important: Both feet must be measured, as they are often of different lengths! We recommend taking the measurement in the evening because feet often swell during the day.
B) - MEASURE YOUR FOOT LENGTH: Measure the length of the foot shape you drew from the heel to the longest toe. You can trace two horizontal lines on the sheet at the heel and toe level to help you with the measurement. Use your longer foot as a guidance.
C) - TIPS:
- Shoes sizes are not standardized between brands globally, thus only your personal foot measurement will guide you to the correct size.
- We calculated the standard allowance of 10-15mm into our foot length recommendation. If you would like to wear very thick socks, please measure your foot with these socks on to get the extra space needed in the shoe.
